Carolina Express Delivery was founded in September of 1996 by Terry and Sharon Phillips. Terry was previously an employee of Phillips Delivery Service for 20 years, but saw a need for increased service levels in the courier business. With a borrowed Buick and a used van with 250,000 miles on it, Terry was in the delivery business. The rest is history.
Carolina Express has 36 vehicles and 40 full- and part-time employees that provide same day delivery within the Southeast. Terry Phillips is the company's president and Sharon serves as the corporate secretary. The company's first employee, Eddie Eubanks, is now the operations manager and dispatcher. All together, they have more than 40 years experience in the same day delivery business.
